The Palatinate is a paradise for wine lovers, hikers and cyclists and offers many opportunities to be active, relax and enjoy yourself. Cyclists can enjoy over 1,800 km of cycle paths. Hikers and tourers can explore the Palatinate and neighboring regions on more than 1,000 kilometers, i.e. there is everything from half-day tours to long-distance hiking trails. For families with children, there are many ways to make both nice and rainy days ideal and varied for everyone. This means you can have fun in climbing and leisure parks, or on a rail bike tour. It is also possible to explore one of the many castles or experience the Old Rhine on a boat trip – it doesn’t have to be boring in the Palatinate.
